There are many ways for you to support Langley Residential Support Services’ (Langley) programs and activities through our fundraising events. These opportunities include event sponsorships or underwriting event expenses, donating auction items, volunteering on a committee, or just purchasing a ticket!

Please take time to learn about how you can become more involved with Langley through our events, and help us make a difference in people’s lives.

The Langley Bowl

Mark your calendars for our 2017 Annual Langley Bowl on Sunday, March 12th at Bowl America Shirley 6450 Edsall Road Alexandria, VA 22312 from 2pm - 4:30pm. Each March we hold a family-friendly bowling “FUN”draiser where everyone—the people in our programs (and their families and friends), our board members (and their families), and long-time supporters and new friends (and of course, their families) can participate.  Everyone has a blast in a relaxed atmosphere, and—most importantly—they get to see first-hand how our programs make a difference in the lives of the people with developmental disabilities we serve.

Fall Wine/Beer Tasting & Benefit Auction

Each Fall we hold a Wine/Beer Tasting and Benefit  Auction to raise funds for our programs and activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discover the perfect wine or beer for upcoming holiday meals and gatherings, enjoy a delicious buffet of hearty hors d’oeuvres, socialize and network with interesting people, and bid on great silent and live auction items.

Last year's event was held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the home of Fairfax County Supervisor John Foust and his wife, Dr. Marilyn Jerome. Our event theme was Uncorking a Rich, Full Life!  We feel it describes the essence of what we work to achieve for all of the men and women with intellectual disabilities in our program: To help them unleash their full potential and support them in living a life that is valued, productive and as independent as possible.

Special thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable evening!
