Join Us in a 'Gathering of Our Hearts' to Benefit the Heart of LRSS!

Langley Residential is excited to celebrate our supporters, residents, program participants, families, and staff for what we have been able to accomplish together over the past year. Event highlights include 45+ curated live and silent auction items just for the LRSS community, wine/beer/spirits tasting by The Wine Attic, catered hors d'oeuvres by Chef G, VIP emcee Kristen Berset-Harris of WUSA’s Great Day Washington, guest speakers, and more. Join us for this special event at a private home in McLean on Saturday, Oct 1.

All event proceeds benefit our general operations to keep our services reliable for the people we work with every day. Event tickets (both in-person and virtual tasting-only) are available now - purchase here!

*Special Announcement Regarding COVID Precautions for October 1**

The current community transmission level for COVID-19 in Fairfax County is considered low (from the most recent data recorded Sept 15-21). We ask that our guests follow the CDC guidelines. If you have tested positive or been around someone who has tested positive, please join us virtually as we would still welcome you to participate in the festivities.

If you are questioning whether you should come or not, the CDC provides the following guidance:

- If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home for at least 5 days and isolate from others in your home. You are likely most infectious during these first 5 days. Wear a high-quality mask when you must be around others at home and in public.
- If after 5 days you are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication, and your symptoms are improving, or you never had symptoms, you may end isolation after day 5.
- Regardless of when you end isolation, avoid being around people who are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19 until at least day 11.
You should wear a high-quality mask through day 10.

If the weather permits, we will plan to have doors open for air flow. We strongly encourage anyone to wear a mask for your own comfort level. Thank you for taking the necessary measures to protect your health and the health of others during this special fall event season for the LRSS family.
